CE-approved protectors sit on the outside of the shoulders, elbows and knees. Removable knee sliders fix to the knees with Velcro. A knee slider is a hard pad that takes the scrape when your knee touches the ground in a deep lean. You can add an Extra Knee Slider as a spare. An extra layer of leather is stitched on the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. The seams are dual stitched, and triple stitched in the key places.
Inside, removable armour sits at the knees, shoulders and elbows. A removable spine protector sits along the back. All of it is dual-density and CE-approved. Dual-density armour uses two layers of foam, a soft one and a firmer one. CE-approved means the armour meets the European standard for motorcycle protectors. Foam padding at the elbows and knees adds more cushioning. You can also add the CE Level 2 (EN 1621-1:2012) upgrade for firmer armour.
Yes. For hot days, you can choose a Perforated Chest, a Perforated Front or a Full Perforated suit. Perforated leather has many small holes that let air pass through. The standard lining is polyester mesh, which also helps air move. For cold days, you can add a Removable Lining or a Thermal Removable Lining. You can take it out when the weather warms up. That way one suit can work in more than one season.
The shell is drum-dyed cowhide leather, 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick. You can also choose Monaco Leather or Kangaroo Leather. Wipe off dirt and bugs with a damp cloth after a ride. Let the suit dry at room temperature, away from a heater. Use a leather conditioner now and then to keep the hide soft. Hang the suit on a wide hanger so the shoulders hold their shape. Take out the armour before you clean the inside.
Choose from the men's or the women's range. Men run from EU 42 to EU 60, or US 32 to US 50. Women run from EU 38 to EU 50, or US 6 to US 18. A riding suit should sit close to the body, so the armour stays over the joints. Measure your chest, waist, hips and inside leg with a soft tape. Then compare your numbers with the size chart. Custom Size is there if no standard size fits.
