The Vertex motorcycle riding suit is a touring suit with CE armour from chest to knee. Shoulders, elbows, knees and back get CE Level 2 pads. Chest and hips get CE Level 1 pads. The shell is 750D Cordura, with a grip panel on the seat. Straps, tabs and a snap collar let you tune the fit.

The shell is 750D Cordura. The 750D number is the denier. It tells you how thick each yarn in the cloth is. A higher number means a thicker yarn. The seat has a sure-grip panel with a textured print. It helps you stay in place on the bike in all kinds of weather. A protective print sits over the elbows and knees. The suit is a textile suit, so you can wipe off road dirt with a damp cloth.
Yes, the suit has two liners you can take out. The thermal liner adds warmth on cold days. The waterproof liner adds a layer against rain. Each liner has its own inner pocket, and the one in the waterproof liner is waterproof too. Next to your skin sits a 3D mesh lining. Two lined hand warmer pockets at the waist help keep your hands warm when you stop. On a mild day you can leave both liners at home.
Vent panels sit on the chest and the upper legs. You can remove panels to let more air flow over your body. Vent zippers on the upper legs open for more air. A zipper at each cuff lets in a little air too. It also lets you wear your glove cuff under the sleeve and over your base layer. The 3D mesh lining helps air move inside the suit. Take out both liners when the day gets hot.
There are 12 pockets in all. Outside, you get two waterproof stash pockets and two lined hand warmer pockets at the waist. Two more waterproof stash pockets sit on the upper legs. A slit pocket is on the sleeve, and a stash pocket is on the back. Inside, there are two inner pockets. The thermal liner has its own inner pocket.
