Yes. The suit is cut for both men and women, and each has its own size range. Men's sizes run from EU 42 to EU 60, which is US 32 to US 50, or XS to XXL. Women's sizes run from EU 38 to EU 50, which is US 6 to US 18, or XXS to XL. Measure your chest, waist, hips and inside leg, then check the size chart. If your numbers do not match a size, you can pick Custom Size.
The suit uses two layers. On the outside, CE-approved protectors sit at the shoulders, elbows and knees. On the inside, removable dual-density CE-approved armour covers the same spots. Dual-density means each pad has a soft side for comfort and a firm side that spreads the force of a hit. A removable dual-density spine protector runs down your back. Removable knee sliders attach with Velcro on the outside of each knee.
Yes. The suit has a polyester mesh lining that lets air move inside. You can also choose perforation. Perforated leather has small holes that let air pass through. The choices are No Perforation, Perforated Chest, Perforated Front or Full Perforated. Full Perforated gives the most air. The Speed Hump options also include a Ventilated Hump, along with No Hump, Standard Hump and Hydro Hump. For cool days, a Thermal Removable Lining is on the add-on list.
The suit closes with semi auto-lock YKK zippers at the front, cuffs and calves. A semi auto-lock zipper stays shut when the pull is folded down, so it does not slide open as you ride. Velcro straps at the neck, cuffs and calves pull the openings snug. The cuffs and collar are soft neoprene, which is gentle on your skin. Pre-curved sleeves keep your arms in a bent riding position without the leather pulling.
The standard shell is cowhide leather, 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick and drum-dyed. Drum-dyed leather turns in a drum of dye, so the color goes deep into the hide. Extra leather is stitched over the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. Accordion leather panels at the lower back and knees stretch when you tuck in. The seams are dual-stitched and triple-stitched at key points. In the options, you can also choose Monaco Leather or Kangaroo Leather.
The suit comes as a 1 Piece Suit, but you can also pick a 2 Piece Suit, or just the Jacket or the Pant. A two-piece lets you wear the jacket on its own. The add-on list offers CE Level 2 (EN 1621-1:2012) armour, a Removable Lining, a Thermal Removable Lining and an Extra Knee Slider. You can also add matching gloves in XS to 3XL and boots in EU 36 to EU 46. That gives you a full set in one order.
