Womens motorcycle race suits from MotoSpeeds come in women's sizes US 6 to US 18. If your body does not match one size, you can choose Custom Size. Below, you will learn how to measure, how to read the women's chart and how a suit should feel on the bike. It also covers riding jeans and riding shirts for days off the track.
Yes. Our one-piece suits named after bikes come in women's sizes US 6 to US 18. That is EU 38 to EU 50, or XXS to XL. Each one also has a Custom Size option. With Custom Size, the suit is made to your measurements. You fill in your sizes instead of picking one from the chart.
A good example is the . It is a one-piece suit in top-grain, drum-dyed cowhide that is 1.2 to 1.3 mm thick. Drum-dyed means the leather is colored in a turning drum, so the dye goes into the hide. You can also order it as a 2 piece suit, or as a jacket or pant on its own.
These one-piece suits are offered for men and women, in the same women's sizes:
Do you want your own colors and design? The are offered for women too. They come as a 1 or 2 piece suit, in cowhide, Monaco or kangaroo leather. They have removable CE Level 2 armor at the shoulders, elbows, knees and hips. You can see all our in one place.
You need six numbers: chest, breast, waist, hip, inseam and height. Wear light clothes, stand straight and keep the tape snug but not tight. Ask a friend to help. Some points are hard to measure on your own. Write each number down in centimeters or inches, then compare them with the women's chart.
Here is what each number means:
Our How to Measure guide shows each point with pictures. Keep your notes. You will need them again if you pick Custom Size.
Waist and hip are the two numbers that most often decide your size. The table below comes from our women's suit chart. Find your waist, then check your hip on the same row. If you fall between two sizes, take the bigger one. The full women's size chart also lists chest, breast, inseam and height.
| US | EU | Letter | Waist | Hip |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | 38 | XXS | 58 cm / 22.8 in | 84 cm / 33.1 in |
| 8 | 40 | XS | 62 cm / 24.4 in | 88 cm / 34.6 in |
| 10 | 42 | S | 66 cm / 26.0 in | 92 cm / 36.2 in |
| 12 | 44 | M | 70 cm / 27.6 in | 96 cm / 37.8 in |
| 14 | 46 | M | 74 cm / 29.1 in | 100 cm / 39.4 in |
| 16 | 48 | L | 78 cm / 30.7 in | 104 cm / 40.9 in |
| 18 | 50 | XL | 82 cm / 32.3 in | 108 cm / 42.5 in |
Women's suit sizes use their own scale. Men's suits run from US 32 to US 50, so a men's number is not the same as a women's number. Always pick from the women's rows. Do not convert from a men's size.
A race suit should feel snug when you are tucked in on the bike, not when you stand up. Standing, it may feel tight across the front and short in the arms. That is normal. The suit is shaped for the riding position. The armor must sit on your joints when you lean forward.
The Yamaha YZF R7 suit shows how a suit is built for this. It has pre-curved sleeves, so the arms are already bent. It has accordion leather stretch panels at the lower back and knees. Stretch Cordura, a tough stretch fabric, sits in parts of the sleeves, crotch and calf. Inside, removable CE approved dual-density armor covers the shoulders, elbows and knees. Dual-density means two layers of foam, one soft and one firm.
Try the suit on and get into a tuck. Then check these points:
Your waist may point to one size and your hips to another. In that case, Custom Size is the simple choice. You can send your measurements, and the suit is made to them. CE marks on our suits apply to the armor, not to the whole suit. Some suits offer a CE Level 2 armor add-on, such as the Yamaha YZF R7. Level 2 armor lets less impact force through than Level 1 under EN 1621-1, the standard for shoulder, elbow, hip and knee armor.
Riding jeans should fit snug at the waist and hips, with room to bend your knees on the bike. Look for armor pockets at the knee and hip. Our women's riding jeans come in US 6 to US 18 and in Custom Size. Use the waist and hip numbers from the women's pant chart.

A women's US 6 is EU 38, or XXS. On our women's pant chart, it fits a waist of 58 cm (22.8 in) and a hip of 84 cm (33.1 in). If your hip is bigger than that, look at the next row up.

Yes, it should feel snug in the tuck. It may feel tight when you stand. That is normal. What matters is that the armor sits on your shoulders, elbows and knees when you lean forward, and that you can still move your arms and turn your head.
You can choose either. Many of our suits, like the Yamaha YZF R7, come as a one-piece suit or as a 2 piece suit. The Custom Race Suits also come as a 1 or 2 piece suit. A two-piece suit is easier to put on and take off.
